At the reception, Charlene said in her speech that we had turned their dream into reality. That is the only brief that matters.
The Wedding
Charlene and Rodrigo celebrated with over 250 guests at Penha Longa Resort - beginning with a Catholic ceremony in the historic chapel, set within the protected forest of Sintra.
The reception design started with two things: the bride’s love of hydrangeas and her favourite colour, blue. We followed that thread into something deeper - blue as the Portuguese sky, the Atlantic, the azulejo tiles embedded in the country’s architecture. Custom azulejo pieces anchored the space, and blue hydrangeas filled every corner. Portugal, made personal.
Singer Nelson Freitas performed live, alongside musicians and dancers who carried the evening through to the end.
